AGR acquired 65 potential wind sites from Dalestone Energy in 2014 with intent to build single wind turbine projects securing the FIT wind subisidy. Upon acquisition, AGR re-designed the portfolio, eliminated non-feasbible turbines, and refinanced the project with own equity and bridge financing provided by Ingenious Group, with whom a joint-venture (Golden Square Energy) was formed. Developments included on-site development for large industries such as Ford and Aggregate, as well as greenfield developments where AGR sources creative agreements with landowners and partners. Over a 32-month period AGR developed, constructed, and delivered 31 EWT FiT sub-500kw wind turbines. The portfolio was sold to PiP (part of Foresight group) in 2017. EPC bridge financing was provided by Bayern LB. AGR continues to provide asset management services for the portfolio.
